Wanted to prove to my great friend Katrina that I truly did love my birthday gift. She got me these cool DIY eco speakers.

Green snot as in it’s eco! haha sorry had to.
Been sick for the last week :( and I kept filling my trash with tissue paper which made me even more sad so I was happy to find this at the store today while I picked up Theraflu (yuck) and Ricolas (yum).

Our Review on EcoTools
**update: Now that I’ve been using this brush for about a month, I’ve got new updates about it. It’s definitely not a great brush for blending so it’s only great for applying one color eye shadows. A pro I found was that I like how it has a fine sturdy tip which I find useful for applying eyeshadow under my eyes. I like applying small amounts of light shades under the eye to brighten them up.
I purchased mine at Walgreens and I was very surprised that it was so affordable. I only needed an eyeshadow brush which was around $4. My friend grabbed their set for around $12. My cousin purchased the set as well and we all agree that we really really love how soft the brushes are! It’s made out of synthetic taklon bristles which is why it’s 100% cruelty free. It’s very sleek and I liked their packaging a lot. They also shared a green tip on the back:
Green Tip: Buy fresh foods instead of frozen. Frozen food uses 10 times more energy to produce.
Also 1% of their annual sales are donated to environmental organizations.

EcoTool Eyeshadow Brush Review:
Pros: affordable, easily available, soft brushes, eco (duh), pretty packaging
Cons: not good for blending eye shadow colors
??? about synthetic bristles- I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing. I know they say that it’s 100% cruelty-free so it’s good but that makes me curious about how natural bristles are made. I’ll look into that later.

Just wanted to share an easy way for you to do something green, simply drink orange juice! We’ve been purchasing Tropicana orange juices because on the carton are codes where if you go onto their website and log it in, they will save 100 sq. feet of rainforest for every code. 
Not all of their items will have the code so you have to look for the ones like in the above picture. The code is in the right hand corner at the top. It’s 11 digits long. You have to have an account to log in the code so if you don’t want to bother yet want to help save the rainforest, comment us your codes and we’ll log it in for you. Sometimes the codes are hard to read like when the top of the letters get slightly cut off. We found that if you look down at the carton you can make it out better.

Since today was really hot, I decided to be productive and take advantage of the heat even though I just wanted to sit and melt away. Thus, I did laundry and it reminded me to make this post. We don’t have lines in the backyard but that doesn’t stop me from line drying. My laundry is all over the house wherever there’s sunlight and space right now. That might be ghetto but who cares, it makes me happy. I go around after a few hours to collect and flip the items to make sure they’re well dried.
