100% Natural Origin Makeup

During finals I was inspired to take care of my skin better and then I started getting into all these beauty stuff.  I found out that Physicians Formula has a line of organic eco-friendly makeup.  “the first ECOCERT® Certified Organic Line of Makeup in the U.S.” I’ve never used foundation before so I was excited to try it out after I was done with finals today as my reward.  Simply went to Longs Drugs store and purchased:

Organic Foundation:

I ended up not liking the foundation and it’s simply because I’m really bad at it.  Haha.  It took too long and that’s because I’m a newbie so for now it’s not my thing.  Figuring out my color was already tough.  But it was definitely fun to try and hey, maybe I’ll like it if I have more practice at it.  I’m really lazy and low maintenance just to warn you.  So if anyone tries this please let me know if you like it!  because my opinion isn’t really valuable here.  Even though I’m too lazy to put on coverup I just recently set a personal goal to take care of my skin better and so far I’ve been having lots of fun with it thanks to RiceBunny.

Organic Loose Powder:

I liked this.  Fun to use and it was easy enough for me to figure out haha.  But again I’m just a newbie with these things.

Organic Tinted Moisturizer:

Anyhoo, I really liked the tinted moisturizer!  “Lightweight tinted moisturizer hydrates skin and evens out skin tone with sheer and natural coverage.” and that’s exactly what it did for me.  Again this was my first time trying coverup makeup so I have nothing to compare it to.  But since I’m coming from normally not wearing any coverup, I liked how it’s really light and I couldn’t mess up.  Plus there’s 15 spf which is good.  Definitely something I could do daily.

“100% Free of Harsh Chemicals. 100% Free of Synthetic Preservatives. 100% Free of Parabens. 100% Free of GMO’s. 100% Free of Synthetic Colors. 100% Free of Synthetic Fragrances. 100% Cruelty Free.”

Eco-friendly Makeup Sponges

So while I was playing with makeup I realized that the makeup sponges for applying foundation definitely was not eco-friendly because they’re pretty much meant for one time uses.  I rinsed mine out right away but for hygiene purposes I don’t think I should risk reusing it too many more times.  So I searched online and found this awesome solution, BeautyBlender.  And they’re so cute!  These are reusable because you can purchase their cleanser to keep these guys clean to use again and again.  AND when they’re beyond reusing, send them back for them to recycle.  Which really makes my day.

Please send us your opinions and reviews if you’ve tried any of these products.

Stay beautifully green :)
