Living Frame Team Workshop
Recently, I had the honor of facilitating a Living Frame Succulent and Moss Arrangement workshop for the amazing non-profit team at Upwardly Global during their regional team retreat. This hands-on activity offered a much-needed switch in pace, allowing participants to transition from the day’s deep discussions into a more relaxed, playful space.
A Calming Way to Connect and Embrace Creativity
After a full day of retreat sessions, the team was ready for something tactile and refreshing. The workshop was designed to inspire creativity while giving everyone the “permission to play.”
While some attendees felt intimidated at first (“How does this even work?”), it was heartening to see with a little encouragement from me and their coworkers sparked confidence. Everyone started to explore and embrace the process. By the end, each person felt a sense of pride and joy in their creation, truly loving their new living plant.

This workshop reminded me of why I love offering creative experiences for teams. These moments of shared creativity build camaraderie and allow everyone to approach challenges—whether it’s arranging succulents or solving serious workplace problems—with a fresh perspective.
