Mid-Autumn Play Dough Mooncake Activity

This year, Mid-Autumn festival falls on Friday, September 29

This activity was a hit with my toddler and their friends at daycare. We homemade play dough using this recipe. I got the wooden mooncake mold online which we’ll be able to use for years to come. We then baked their “mooncakes” into ornaments with name tags which you can download below.

I also brought library books, paper lanterns, and yummy mooncakes from 85 degree bakery for the kids to try. The kids loved it! I’m so proud this no fuss activity was such a hit with the toddlers.
