Three Ways to Pause This Season
I took it easy this week. I let myself rest. Fall apart and let things fall back into place. I told myself that this time around I will be better about listening to my body. Knowing myself, once I start something it’s really hard for me to know when to take a break. So with a new season, a new month, it was time to pause and check in.
Here’s three ways I’m making sure I pause this season:
October is the beginning of a busy season for me so I will continue with this intention to pause often in order to avoid burnout. I find filling out a self care bingo card is a fun reminder otherwise it’s too easy to forget.
It’s also the season where I find myself wanting to detox from social media; disconnect to reconnect. This year I do find it easier to step away guilt-free as often as I need to. As a small biz, I don’t regret not investing in IG since so much is out of your control. This relaunch I really wanted to focus on my mailing list instead and I am really blown away with the engagement so far. Thank you for interacting, being curious/interested, asking questions, or just saying hello. I’m really enjoying connecting with folks from all stages of ecomonster this way.
Get outside. It’s usually the answer when I ask myself what do I need to avoid another meltdown or burnout. Recharge with nature however you can and speaks to you.
meditating outdoors
grounding barefoot
planting fall seeds
go for a walk
forest bathing
camping
May this season be recharging rather than draining for you busy friend.
Cheers!
