Camping in Napa With a Toddler
I’ve learned that as a first time parent, weekends with toddler is so fun and doubly exhausting. This weekend we decided to brave a one hour trip to Napa wine country. We scrambled to pack, of course, and it wasn’t perfect but it was worth it to see our little one enjoy their first camping experience. Luckily our friends are always more prepared than us so our trip was saved by our good friends.
Itinerary with a toddler
Lunch @Oxbow Market
Wineries are by reservations only so plan accordingly!
Bothe State Park camping notes
no wood fires - check before you go
quarter showers & clean flushing toilets
pool was closed but river was ankle deep for splashing
Next day
Breakfast in Calistoga
Santa Rosa Children’s museum -I got free tickets with Discover & Go. We easily spent 2 hours here
Lunch @Amy’s drive thru - vegetarian fast food

Food and wiggles out before road trip back home helped us a bunch.
